Mike Gault, Chairman and Co-Founder of Atlantis Group

Mike brings to Atlantis Group over 20 years diverse experience including stints in the military, academia, engineering and financial derivatives. Mike Gault is the CEO of GuardTime, a technology startup based in Tallinn, Estonia, Prior to joining GuardTime he was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital in Tokyo.


Oli Valur Steindorsson, CEO and Co-Founder of Atlantis Group

Oli, a native of Icelandic fishing village Akranes, moved to Tokyo at the age of 19 to focus on a career in the industry.  Through his extensive experience there in the seafood industry, he has mastered the japanese language and culture and established a wide network of customers and contacts in the seafood trade worldwide. Married with 4 children.


Maron Kristofersson, Chief of Operations Atlantis Group

A native of Icelandic fishing village Akranes. 

Maron has been a part of the management team at Atlantis Group since 2004 and Director since 2007.  Maron ran Atlantis's operations in Australia between 2005-2008 which were heavily focused into the Bluefin Tuna industry from Port Lincoln, South Australia. 

Married, 4 children.


Romain Vincent

Romain Vincent joined the Atlantis Board of Directors in May 2009.

Romain is of French and Swiss origin. From August 2000 Romain worked for Credit Lyonnais in Tokyo, starting in IT but soon moving to interest rates Exotic trading divison. In 2005 Romain moved to Barclays Capital andbecame a director in charge of  Exotic, Inflation and Hybrids Products. In 2008 Romain joined Calyon Capital Markets in Tokyo as executive Director and head of IRD and FX Exotic Trading Japan. Romain co-owns and operates Le Mont Saint-Michel, a french cusine restaurant in Tokyo. He is married and has one child.


Thorarinn V Thorarinsson

Thorarinn has a vast experience in the Icelandic business community, having served as the managing director of Iceland’s politically influential Federation of Enterprises and CEO of the incumbent Icelandic Telecom.

Thorarinn has for a decade, served as Attorney-at law, consulting to and litigating on behalf  i.a. firm in the processing industry, contractors, among them some international enterprises, firms in the fishing industry and financial services. He is and has been a member of the BoD of a considerable number of firms, including some big Icelandic fishing and fish processing Icelandic.  He is married with to daughters.
